Motley Films comprises of a team of 4 undergraduates concerned with the minority. The team believes that society should accept heterogeneity, thus seeking to address such issues in their films.
Them is a short documentary featuring foreign workers in Singapore – contrasting their opinions of Singaporeans and vice versa.
For another interview project, the team tried to expand their understanding of the less fortunate outside of Singapore. They interviewed Mr. Darren Tan, an active volunteer with Mercy Relief who has just returned from a mission trip to help the children in Myanmar.
Besides Where I Belong, 2 team members were also involved in a short narrative piece, Pride, which explores a gay person’s internal struggle.
